Another new trend is "Trash the Dress" sessions with a photographer. Basicially, instead of packing up the dress to be used again by a future generation or as material for something like a baptism dress, brides will go out and trash the dress. Some go to the beach and have "From Here to Eternity"-esque moments. Some just go about the city in the dress, not caring what happens to it. To me it is just further proof about how wasteful weddings can be. People are paying a lot of money for a dress and then they ruin it? Crazy wasteful. I don't care if some call it art. I will make those people a macaroni person on paper. That is art.

I saw this on the news and was disgusted. Even if you don't save the dress, donate it!
