Maid or Matron?

BM Kim and I were talking last night about the names of the ladies side of the bridal party. So the question is that if you are married you are the "matron of honor" so then shouldn't other married attendants be "bridesmatrons"? Or are they still a bridesmaid?

I don't know. Is this like those other conundrums such as which came first the chicken or the egg?
