So it is Sunday and we had an action packed weekend. Saturday I finally got shoes that I liked, tulle to attempt to make a veil, returned the largest wine glasses ever (that we registered for so it is my fault), and got baskets for the bathroom baksets we will hopefully assemble. Also on Friday we had sent some hard to find songs to our DJ.
Non-wedding related: We picked up our half marathon numbers and today we got up at 6:30 to get to the Fens for the BAA half marathon. We then proceeded to run 13.1 miles. Both B and I ran well. We got decent times, felt good throughout most of it. We are now seated on the couch where we have been for a while and continue to be for the night. We are even planning on ordering in because we are that lazy. Oh one casualty was my running shoes (which were getting past their prime anyway), I guess I got a blood blister that popped during the run, bled through my socks ala Curt Schilling and then came up through my shoes.

Run Bride Run
Well I signed up for the Boston Half Marathon (http://www.baa.org/HalfMarathon/Default.asp). I haven't run in awhile so I don't know how I will do but I figure even just training a little bit will help me get in and stay in shape for the wedding. But B is running it as well so I have motivation to train. I mean, it will be hard for me to sit on the couch when I know he is out doing an eight mile run. Guilt really works well on me.

Cause of Death: Arm Circles
So in my quest to live a healthful life - I hired a personal trainer. My gym is currently having a good deal and I wanted to do it anyway. So I met with Vayu on Sunday. He seems like a very nice guy but I will grow to hate and I accept this fate.
After we meet and go over things like resting heart rate, optimal heart rate range blah blah blah. We begin our workout and he likes to keep things basic and we do calisthenics. I of course think it will be easy - jumping jacks? Piece of cake.
Um - I was wrong. Way wrong. We started off with a variety of arm circles. Arm circles - chld's play! No! I thought I was going to cry. Arm circles were hurting and they never seemed to end. This is when I began to hate to Vayu but I told him that afterwards. The workout moved on from arm circles to even more sadistic forms of torture.
